The GreenHouse Building

The University Heights complex buildings are all LEED certified Gold. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. This means that the four buildings in the complex are all extremely energy efficient and feature environmentally friendly design elements. Some of these elements include composting toilets and post consumer carpeting. a lot of the wood is harvested from the university owned Jericho forest. The buildings run east west and the roofs are pitched specifically for maximum solar exposure.
